FHI Heat Texture Smooth System
For wavy-haired girls, straightening can take forever. FHI has introduced a six-step system to help make your client’s hair sleek and straight.
The FHI Heat Texture Smooth System starts with a deep cleansing shampoo followed by a silicone free conditioner, which helps with common porosity, a problem with buildup from straightening. Once the hair is clean, follow with FHI Heat Texture Smooth Permanent Cream, which should be applied no closer than one inch from the scalp, checking every five minutes for desired texture (either just flattening out kinks or extreme straightening). Of course after the permanent cream, hair needs to be rinsed with the sulfate free shampoo to stop the straightening process. Step five involves the heat hot sauce (which has fun packaging looking just like food hot sauce!) that basically prepares the follicle for a straightening iron. Finally the last step is the leave-in neutralizer, to be used after the hair dries and styled, to achieve a final straightened look. FHI recommends a final swipe of a straightening iron to reinforce the hair.
